My first videogame ever

Hi guys,saturday will be the "anything throguh my mind" day.Today i wanted to talk about my first videogame:Donkey Kong Country. I was 2 or 3 years old when my dad brought this strange rectangular thing to me(SNES) and explained me how to make it work. I immediatly fell in love with it and i started playing DKC with my dad behind me explaining to me what the funny writings on the screen meant(that's how i started learning english). I spent at least 2 or 3 years with DKC ending it over and over and over again,both alone and with my cousin(multiplayer mode FTW).I'd like to know your first videogame ever and how you felt the first time you had it into your hands!

Stealth: an helluva problem

Hi summoners! I'm Torrim and i play on the EU servers.I'm at mid ELO but thanks to my extremely long experience in video games(i started to "study" in 1991) i think i got at least a basic grasp of how a video game works and, especially, a PvP one.
So for my first post i'd like to talk about a problem that is probably common to every online game on the world: Stealth.
In LoL, for our luck and pleasure,only 2 champions(Evelynn and Twitch) have a true stealth while other 3 got a "restricted" version of it (Akali,Teemo,Shaco).I'll talk about the true fear-bringing stealth. First thing to understand is:why is stealth a problem in League of legends?And here's why,in my opinion, stealth is what it is:

Stealth on a char=Get fed or you are worth nothing
Thnk about it. Would you ever fear a not-fed Twitch?An eve with sheen and normal boots?That's the main problem with stealth champs;they MUST be weaker then normal champs because stealth is what should give them the means to compensate that weakness and that is through kills, kills and MOAR KILLS.A not fed Eve/Twitch is like a big pile of gold running on the battlefield,and a champion that can be explained with Fed=Fun Unfed=Run is anti-fun for the enemy(when fed) or for the player and his team(when unfed).

Being able to walk past an enemy without being noticed is nice.Being able to walk past an enemy TEAM,sticking to them,preparing a gank and killing them with them beng able to do nothing is EXTREMELY nice.For the stealthed guy.For the "enemy" is extremely frustrating. Scouting and map control is a key aspect of LoL and stealth tips the balance with nearly no risk.You can litterally stalk a whole enemy team with oracle on if you know how to move.

Stealth is an extremely powerful skill even for escaping.Early game it's extremely hard to bring a costant flow of damage long enough to stop the stealth timer and kill the enemy.This makes an extremely strong offensive skill even an extremely strong defensive skill.


So what should be done?
This is obviously my opinion and mine alone. The first thing to do should be to remove oracle and vision wards.This way there would be no counter to stealth making it easier to balance it.I know that this sounds strange but balancing something WITHOUT having to think "but this will be countered so easily/hardly"it's a huge step forward.Second thing that should be done is a choice:
Do we make stealth SCOUTING focused or GANKING focused? A scouting focused stealth could work something like this: you hide and your enemy can't see you.You get a HUGE damage debuff 5 secs after going out of stealth making it hard if not impossible to kill someone in a 1v1 situation
Ganking stealth: you hide and become invisible to the enemy if you are far from him AND if you don't eneter a brush with an enemy inside it.The moment you get too close OR you enter a brush with an enemy you are revealed for 5 secs.With this kinds of stealth there'll be no need to have oracles and/or sight ward to make it possible for the enemy team to play.
I'd like to know what you guys think about this :)
